Few years ago, a century-old Hindu temple situated in Kamarjani Union of Gaibandha, came under the force of the Brahmaputra river and succumbed to riverbank erosion Despite this loss, devoted worshippers remained resilient, unwavering in their commitment to practicing their traditional religion. Focused on preserving their cultural heritage, they pooled their resources, collectively investing in the construction of a new temple in the nearby Goghata village. Their determination reflects a shared resolve to safeguard their cultural identity, refusing to let the impacts of climate change rob them of their cherished traditions.
