Saiful Islam Prince works as a District Correspondent of News24 in Gaibandha, Bangladesh.

As a mentee of the GCA/BBC Media Training program, Prince has produced three excellent stories of building resilience through LLA. The first story is on how community women leaders of DipChar (river island), Gaibandha are collectively managing a grain bank to ensure access to food during periods of crisis.

The second story reflects how people of Kamarjani union of Rangpur have preserved their cultural heritage by rebuilding a 100-year-old temple lost to riverbank erosion.

The third story highlights the collective efforts of the communities of Bhati Kapasia Char on developing a green buffer to protect their lands from erosion.
