This event held at Gobeshona Global Conference 4 gives visibility to four United Nations Development Programme-AFCIA grantees from the African Region, presents their innovative solutions and journeys to build local resilience, and discusses how platforms and partnership networks can help scale or replicate these solutions.
This session was co-hosted by ICCCAD, CDKN, GRP, and UNDP-AFCIA to showcase innovation in locally led adaptation and showcases practical examples happening already in the ground. Special focus is given to those projects that engage women, youth, and Indigenous communities in several African countries, and in identifying the elements that have helped these innovative solutions to be accelerated and scaled up.
