A session on "Community-based Monitoring for Behavior Change in Climate Vulnerable Areas" was held at the Gobeshona Global Conference 4. The session shared evidence-based experience with locally led adaptation practitioners and organizations on how community-based monitoring (CBM) can provide opportunities for locally led planning and monitoring. Points of discussion included concepts and methods of CBM, the role of partners and non-governmental organizations in CBM, data digitization from CBM, as well as how local governments can utilize data gathered from these processes for planning.
