Pune-based non-profit Swayam Shikshan Prayog was recognized for its efforts in helping women farmers in the Marathwada region adopt climate-resilient agricultural practices for over two decades in the Capacity and Knowledge category of the GCA Local Adaptation Champions Awards at the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27).
