Responding to a call to action on extreme heat by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, a group of philanthropies have agreed to invest US$ 50 million in rapid-response funding to help address the severe and escalating threats posed by extreme heat to health, workers and livelihoods, infrastructure, food security, and more in communities worldwide.
