Najmul Hossain works as a District Correspondent for Jamuna Television in Kurigram, Bangladesh.

As a mentee of the GCA/BBC Media Action Training Program, Hossain has captured the inspiring story of how the climate migrants of Gharialdanga and Biddananda union of Kurigram have found a new life in the village of tenants in Rangpur. While some have decided to migrate, others are opting for transporting passengers in horse drawn carriages as a livelihood option. Farmers who are unable to grow crops, are taking livestock rearing as an alternative livelihood strategy.
